How time flies!

I must admit that I feel as though I just arrived in Paris and not, at all, like I have to start considering a second suitcase or finding my way back to some street to buy the pink salt I saw. It is, however, an interesting reminder of how quickly life seems to be moving these days. Not only is it the end of my time in Paris, this also marks a year of great change in my life, and I am not sure where all the days went. How is it almost Christmas, again?

Where is this going? I'm not really sure but I as I think about all I have learned about myself over the past year, the month I've been in Paris, and the coming months of uncertainty, I would like to try and expand this blog beyond a travel memoir and use it explore professional and personal decisions/thought processes. So any thoughts or emails about that idea would be great.

As for my final days in Paris, they are going to be filled with so much including:

And I'm sure there will be more. I've got Christmas presents to buy; Christmas cards to write (this year I will send before Valentine's Day); Thanksgiving dinner to attend at B's; S coming for a visit; and a lot of macaroons to eat.

Wish me luck!
