Paris Prep, pt 2. & Paris Tweeters.

Just a few hours before I leave for Paris. Passport, check. Checked in online, check. Keys to flat, check. Class confirmation, check. A couple more quick things to do but, overall, I'm feeling pretty good so this morning I decided to take a little time to explore Twitter resources for Paris.

So far I haven't found much but there a couple really good ones (if you have other suggestions, let me know).
  • @ParisBuFF. Runs a vacation rental place in Montmartre. http://memorablemoviesandmontmartre.webs.com/. Cool tips and links such as
  • @AUPTweets. Official site of American University in Paris. Tip for today: conversation opportunities every week Thursday 18h00-19h30 @ The American Church (65, Quai d'Orsay, room G2)
  • @ParisHideaways. Rental agency but also good tips. Sorry to be missing the 150th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower today.
  • @CoolStuffParis. Relatively new site that has links to stuff like funky art walks.
  • @David Lebovitz. He has the eponymous website, too. Amazing tips on travel, living in Paris. http://www.davidlebovitz.com/
Random aside: Wheels up at 5:30 tonight. Land in Paris tomorrow morning. Will fly away thinking about the awesome party that my friends had for me last night. While my trip is shaping up a little differently than originally planned, it promises to be amazing. And I'm truly blessed to have such great friends to help me launch it.
